JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL DAYS: THE BEGINNING OF MY DREAM COURSE
This photo was taken when I was in my third year of high school and I joined a cooking competition. This is where my passion for cooking began, so my desire to take a course in college was culinary arts. My teacher in the subject of TLE Cookery has already seen that I have a talent for cooking. She told me to pursue my skills until I got to college. When I heard my teacher's advice, I decided that this is the course I want.
This picture is from my fourth year of high school. My strand course in high school cooking continued. I become energetic and diligent in our study of cooking. Here, I almost spilled the fun I was having at our school. Many people have met me hanging out in our culinary lab. Many are also happy with my ability to participate in the cooking contest, so I was chosen again to compete in the cooking competition division contest. But I could not continue due to a bad illness that I experienced.
I joined NC II Cookery, the nervousness is intense, and the training is intense for the NC II preparation. I learned a lot about cooking strategies in the kitchen. The cost of the ingredients and equipment that will be needed is also high. From what I've experienced, I'm happy, and I don't feel tired too much because I like what I'm doing. The time has come for NC II. The overall duration needed is 4 hours to make 14 different types of menu dishes. This is challenging because there is an oral exam afterward.
Our tiredness turned into joy because all of my batchmates passed. So we graduated from junior high school with a medal because we already have the title of NC II passers. Our school made a big tarpaulin for those NC II passers to congratulate us and to show that the school is proud of its student's passer.

DeleteI can still remember those days, they were inspiring and give us the dream of becoming. It's not easy to cook all the time but with our little heart desires to cook and passion made it meaningful and with our teachers, classmates and friends made it more memorable. I love reading it, brings back the memories.
